The wallet plug-in developed by NEXT community developers-NEOLine, has been officially launched!
NEOLine is the first Chrome extension wallet to support NEO Network, which enables the seamless connection between the browser and NEO, allowing users to complete the NEO system’s full asset viewing, transfer, browsing transaction and other wallet functions as usual.
·Friendly dAPI
When we use dApp, there will be contract interaction requirements such as recharge and transfer. Unless you have a hardware wallet, you can’t know and judge the true and false of the contract. You don’t know where to review.
Then what should we do?
NEOLine provides dAPI for dApp developers — a lightweight JS library that is quickly accessible and fully documented. The more flexible and highly formatted communication between the dApp and the wallet greatly reduces the barriers between developers and NEOs, between dApp providers and users, and the implementation of smart contracts.
On the dApp, you only need to authorize “connection” and connect to your wallet, NEOLine. Every time a transfer occurs, the dApp will pass the correct transaction information to NEOLine via dAPI. This information will be processed by NEOLine and then processed. You can review the true and false of this transfer on NEOLine. After confirmation, NEOLine will send the transaction data to the chain and complete the transfer.
The dApp is quarantined throughout the transaction, it simply tells NEOLine what to do through dAPI and will not participate in its process. Because the powerful security of Chrome protects the plug-in data, all sensitive data processing is done inside the plug-in, so NEOLine’s security mechanism can be considered secure enough.
For example, if you buy something online, Taobao says that you have to pay 20 yuan for this cup, and then send the payment information to Alipay. There will be a payment page for paying 20 yuan on Alipay. This process has nothing to do with Taobao. You confirmed the transaction and paid it, and Alipay will start the transaction.
When NEOLine is connected to the dApp, the authorization information of the dApp’s identity information is authorized. All the information can be seen at the moment of connection. It is up to us to confirm the authorization.
At the same time, the team is discussing and planning to provide dAPIs that are more friendly and convenient to dApp developers based on the actual needs of the dApp team. Click on the link below for specific usage and dAPI listings.

· Support for multiple address management
NEOLine supports one-click switching between the main network and the test network, and creates accounts, imports private keys, transfers funds, manages assets, views transaction records, freely searches for added currency, and supports multi-language switching. It is worth mentioning that NEOLine also supports multi-address management (additional multiple addresses can be added in addition to the primary address, each address can be set independently).
The specific operation steps are described later.
For everyone concerned about data security issues, NEOLine as a decentralized plug-in wallet, the user’s private key, the address information in the wallet, etc. are only encrypted and stored in the computer used by the user, the server does not save any data, the user needs to set the main when first used. The password, which is the only voucher to access the wallet, so be sure to keep the initial password in a safe place.
The Steps are as follows
Step 1: Add plugins to Chrome
